The Innovation, Data and Communication Committee, at its meeting on 18 September, met with Dr Jimmy Chiang, Deputy Director-General of the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES). Dr Chiang highlighted Hong Kong’s strategic positioning in attracting diverse investments and enterprises as the city accelerates efforts to attract high potential enterprises in such areas as artificial intelligence, fintech and pharmaceuticals. In addition, Dr Chiang elaborated on the Governments’ efforts to attract highly skilled talent to secure Hong Kong’s status as an international innovation hub.
