Lillian Cheong, Under Secretary for Innovation, Technology, and Industry, shared valuable insights into the latest developments of the Hong Kong Park within the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Co-operation Zone on 19 May. Speaking at the committee meeting, Cheong highlighted the mission to establish a world-class innovation and technology hub that connects Hong Kong with the Mainland and the rest of the world. Her presentation also covered the Government’s progress in expediting the Hong Kong Parks’ Phase 1 development, as well as strategic plans to promote cross-boundary flow of innovation elements, including personnel, materials, capital and data.
