The Chamber’s Financial and Treasury Services Committee met with Nicholas Ho, Commissioner for Belt and Road on 22 January, to hear his insights on the exciting latest developments of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and Hong Kong's role and roadmap. We also learned more about Belt and Road Office’s ‘6+3+ Silk strategy’, which aims to further penetrate key core markets, discover new potential countries for expansion, as well as further capitalize on Hong Kong’s strengths as a dual circulation gateway to provide value-added services to local and global businesses seeking to operate in the connected jurisdictions of the BRI.
