Ana Maria Lafuente Córdoba, Counsellor for Tourism, Spanish Tourist Office in Guangzhou, shared the latest efforts to restart tourism in Spain at the Europe Committee’s online meeting on 3 September. She introduced measures taken by international organizations and the private sector to restore tourists’ confidence by using blockchain for a health seal. She said that Covid-19 will have long-lasting changes on travelers’ behavior, but she remains positive that the resilient tourism sector will overcome the current crisis.
