At the 18 July Committee meeting, Crystal Fok, Director of AI Applications at Hong Kong Cyberport Management Co., provided an insightful update on the advancements at Cyberport’s AI Supercomputing Centre, which is designed to significantly enhance Hong Kong's research and development capabilities in critical sectors such as HealthTech, AI, data science, advanced manufacturing, and new energy technology.

Her presentation also highlighted other strategic AI initiatives, including the Gen A.I. Sandbox program aimed at bolstering AI adoption in the financial sector, and Cyberport's broader commitment to fostering a dynamic ecosystem for innovative startups and top-tier talent. At the same meeting Fred Sheu was elected as Chairman, whilst Timothy Tam and Wilson Wong were respectively re-elected and elected co-Vice Chairmen. The committee also expressed gratitude to the outgoing Chairman, Elsa Wong, for her contributions.
