Decarbonising HK 2050 series: How can Carbon Neutrality be Achieved with Core Climate – HKEX’s New Carbon Marketplace?
At a seminar on 16 February, Ken Chiu, Head of Carbon and ESG Products at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) introduced Core Climate, a new international voluntary carbon marketplace that seeks to connect capital with climate-related products and opportunities in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Asia and beyond. He explained how this platform can support businesses’ decarbonisation journey and help contribute to the realisation of global carbon neutrality goals.
This is the seventh in a series of seminars on ‘Decarbonising Hong Kong 2050’, which focuses on how the government, businesses and communities are working towards Hong Kong's goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
