Secretary for Environment and Ecology Tse Chin-wan addressed the Chamber at a special Town Hall Forum on 13 February. He spoke on a wide range of environment and sustainability objectives as set out in the Chief Executive’s 2022 Policy Address, including environmental improvement, achieving carbon neutrality, nature conservation and streamlining the Environmental Impact Assessment process. Held under the Chatham House Rule, members shared and exchanged their views on how to transform Hong Kong into a low-carbon and sustainable economy.

The Forum began with a welcome note by Chamber Chairman Betty Yuen while Wilson Kwong, Chairman of the Chamber’s Environment and Sustainability Committee, moderated the discussion session.
