Cathy Kai Jiang, Partner, Tax & China Business Advisory at PwC, briefed members on the latest developments, business opportunities and policies in the city at a webinar on 9 February.

Although the pandemic has hindered the physical flow of foreign scholars and professors to Mainland China, Jiang said that there was still a golden opportunity for academics in the Mainland and Hong Kong to build a global research hub together. She also suggested that businesses should study the ecosystem closely and ensure that they understand the competition before entering the Shenzhen market.
