China's Two Sessions 2023: Dialogue with CPPCC National Committee Members and Deputy to National People's Congress
The 2023 Annual Sessions of the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (Two Sessions) concluded on 13 and 11 March respectively in Beijing. At a roundtable luncheon on 20 March, Chamber senior members, who are HKSAR Members of the National Committee of CPPCC, and HKSAR Deputy to the National People’s Congress shared their key takeaways and insights into these important meetings.
They discussed the results of past policy measures, legislative developments, key decisions announced and the new leadership line-up at this year’s Two Sessions. They also shared their thoughts on the plans for the country’s economic and social development as well as their impact on Hong Kong businesses in the year ahead.
