Gaëlle Loiseau, CEO of Shared Value Project Hong Kong, discussed with members how creating shared value (CSV) can effectively benefit business and society, even during times of crisis.

Speaking at a Chamber webinar on 8 July, Loiseau introduced the concept of CSV, and explained how corporates can find business opportunities while working to help solve social issues. Although the global business environment right now remains highly uncertain, companies can use the opportunity to set up new strategies in response to the pandemic situation – thereby creating shared value. 

For example, companies could promote products and services for a healthier lifestyle. Such promotions not only create a better environment but can also build trust between your business and customers, ultimately helping to boost revenue.
