With travel restrictions currently in place, many companies operating cross-border businesses have adopted new information and communication technologies to maintain their services. As a result, the demand for tools for remote office working has increased ten-fold. At a Chamber webinar on 12 May, Charlie Tang, Assistant Vice President of China Business Development at HKT, and Zoe Hu, Channel Director of Shanghai Huawan Communication Technology Co, shared how companies can maintain the productivity of their cross-border businesses using ICT solutions. They stressed that the connection stability of different ICT platforms would vary when establishing cross-border meetings between Mainland China and overseas. The speakers also introduced the technology focus behind the different ICT platforms and their respective advantages.
