Turmoil Ahead? Economic Outlook for Europe
Europe could be in for a year of upheaval as uncertainty swirls! Dr Alicia Garcia-Herrero, Chief Economist for Asia Pacific at Natixis, gave members her forecast on economic development for this and coming years. Global growth engines, including the U.S., China and Europe will decelerate. She also shed light on major risks for European region that hinder growth in the Eurozone, such as the adverse impact of Brexit and looming risks of Italy. She also stressed Europe needs to put more investment into education, R&D, and innovation to provide areas and jobs for future generations.
