Professor Lawrence Lau from the Chinese University of Hong Kong shared his insights on the relationship between Mainland China and the United States and introduced his new book "The China-U.S. Trade War and Future Economic Relations" at the Chamber’s Meet the Author Series roundtable luncheon on 4 March. Professor Lau explained why Mainland China and the U.S. should strengthen their economic interdependence for mutual benefits, and shared his sense of optimism about the Chinese economy. Members had the opportunity to have their books signed by Professor Lau after the luncheon.
