Taiwan Interest Group Presents: The New Era of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine
Dr Hsieh Dar-Jen introduced some of the huge advances being made in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine at a roundtable luncheon on 24 April. The Founder and CEO of ACRO Biomedical explained how his company has developed technology to use porcine bone derived products in a wide range of treatments, from cornea transplants to cartilage regeneration. In the near future, he anticipates that organ reconstruction will be possible, and as a result we should be prepared for a society of elderly people living to far beyond 100.
