The increasing number of infrastructure projects being developed in Hong Kong means the demand for electrical and mechanical technicians and professionals is growing. On 13 April, the Chamber visited the CLP Power Academy to learn about the programmes on offer and toured the training facilities. Established in 2017, the Academy has cooperated with VTC and universities to provide recognized training programmes for people who are interested in pursuing a career in the power industry. During the visit, members explored the InnoPower Hall, which has a range of virtual and augmented reality training tools, and took a close look at the cable jointing and electrical fitting workshops.
