Martin Richter, Ernst & Young Tax Services Hong Kong Transfer Pricing Leader, spoke on legislative developments with transfer pricing ("TP") in Hong Kong at a Chamber roundtable luncheon on 6 February. As part of a worldwide effort to combat Base Erosion and Profit Shifting ("BEPS") activities, the Hong Kong Government has updated the law to mandate disclosures, documentation, and reporting requirements by local businesses as recommended by the OECD and G20.
