The Chamber Women Executives Club had the pleasure of inviting an amazing lady, Vera Waters, to share many of her lifelong mottos with members over a casual luncheon on 8 January. A person with an open heart to anyone she encounters, Vera stresses that we should always have good manners and be willing to help others regardless on the return for doing so. Many of her good relations with people were built from being a true person that she had always been and keeping to her promises. The luncheon coincidentally fell in the same month of Vera’s birthday, and members took the opportunity to celebrate her 83rd birthday by singing a birthday song and sent her blessings. Everyone at the luncheon have pocketed-in with them some very useful tips in how to become a truly respectable person from the inside-out, which can be applied from work to personal lives and accomplish a healthy mind and body no matter of age.
