Members enjoyed an informative visit to Container Terminal 4 at Hutchison Port (HIT) on 17 November 2025.  Hosted by the HIT team, we enjoyed a fruitful afternoon gaining insights into HIT's latest global logistics updates and the innovative initiatives shaping the industry's future.

We were particularly impressed by its environmental measures, including the installation of solar panels atop quay cranes, which significantly power their machinery houses and contribute to sustainability efforts.  The visit included a tour of the Remote Operation Centre, which showcases cutting-edge technology that enhances operational efficiency and safety.
