Past Events

WEC members enjoyed a visit to the HKTDC Simply Shopping Fest on 29 July, where they learnt about the different types of pearls at a presentation by a gemologist from GIA Hong Kong. She also introduced the “GIA 7 Pearl Value Factors” classification system, so members can assess and appreciate pearls in future.  

The visitors then enjoyed a thematic guided tour of the different zones at the festival, followed by some time to visit the exhibitors and stalls together.
