We were honoured to welcome the Governor of Guangdong, Wang Weizhong, to the Chamber today. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Chamber Chairman Agnes Chan, Vice Chairman PC Yu, HKGCC LegCo Representative Jeffrey Lam, General Committee members and Committee chairmen.

Governor Wang acknowledged Hong Kong’s significant contributions to Guangdong’s development, particularly in technology, talent and capital. He emphasized that both Hong Kong and Guangdong share a common goal of fostering growth in the Greater Bay Area and expressed gratitude for Hong Kong’s ongoing investment in the province. He also welcomed policy feedback from Chamber members, who shared their perspectives on cross-border cooperation in finance, investment, logistics, transportation, medical and insurance services, new energy and talent development.

Looking ahead, Wang hoped that the Chamber could help attract further investment to Guangdong and facilitate business expansion within the province.
