Members of the Real Estate and Infrastructure Committee, and a few other Chamber committees, joined an insightful tour of the Northern Metropolis in the afternoon of 22 August, which was organised by the Northern Metropolis Co-ordination Office. The visit kicked-off with a briefing by Vic Yau, Director of the Northern Metropolis Co-ordination Office, who shared the overall development of the Northern Metropolis, as well as a tour of the City Gallery’s latest Northern Metropolis exhibition gallery. Members then set off for a tour of several key sites in the Northern Metropolis region, including San Tin Technopole.

The tour presented a unique opportunity to delve into the latest governmental plans and progress concerning the Northern Metropolis, and facilitated exchanges between the business community and the Government about its future.
