Seeing into 2007: Moving into the Second Decade

The 13th Annual Hong Kong Business Summit took place on December 14 under the banner “Seeing into 2007: Moving into the Second Decade.” 2007 will be a landmark year for Hong Kong as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the HKSAR. It also coincides with a time when several major public policy initiatives affecting everyone for the long term will be debated.

The 12th Annual Hong Kong Business Summit - Heading into 2006: Hong Kong and the WTO

HKGCC, in association with The Wall Street Journal Asia, held the 12th Annual Hong Kong Business Summit on December 2, 2005. The Chief Executive, the Honorable Donald Tsang, delivered the opening remarks at this year's summit, which focused on the 6th WTO Ministerial in Hong Kong, the value of the WTO, globalization and how Hong Kong is a classic example of how free trade can benefit an economy. A lot of interest was also expressed on other business issues, especially the environment, culture and education.

Hong Kong in 2005: Continuing the Global Outlook

HKGCC, in association with The Asian Wall Street Journal, held the 11th Annual Hong Kong Business Summit on November 25. The Financial Secretary, the Honorable Henry Tang, delivered the opening remarks at this year's summit, which focused on Hong Kong’s international value. Hong Kong 2004: The First Year of CEPA

HKGCC, in association with The Asian Wall Street Journal, held the 10th Annual Hong Kong Business Summit on December 10.
