18th Social Enterprise Summit (SES 2025) International Symposium 第十八屆社企民間高峰會（SES 2025）國際研討會

In a time of rapid global changes and uncertainties, we are challenged to rethink how we address pressing societal issues such as inequality, poverty, climate change, and community well-being. Social innovation has emerged as a powerful tool—not limited to charity or policy—but as a means to create impactful, practical, and scalable solutions. It is about reimagining systems, connecting diverse stakeholders, and fostering collaboration to build more inclusive and resilient communities.

The 18^th Social Enterprise Summit (SES 2025) International Symposium embraces the theme “Unleashing Passion & Purpose for Social Innovation – HK & GBA”, emphasising the importance of bridging hearts and breaking boundaries. By fostering connections across regions, generations, and sectors, SES 2025 seeks to inspire changemakers to co-create sustainable solutions that address complex challenges.

Social innovation is not confined to social enterprises; it is a bridge that unites civil society, businesses, governments, academia, and communities. Through shared purpose and mutual trust, we can break down silos and deliver on the Triple Bottom Line—economic performance, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability.

As a global hub, Hong Kong plays a pivotal role in connecting the Greater Bay Area and the international community. SES 2025 will showcase real-world success stories from both local and global perspectives, demonstrating the power of social innovation in driving systemic change. From empowering underserved communities to advancing sustainability, these stories highlight the transformative potential of passion and purpose in action.

This year, SES 2025 will continue to serve as a co-creative and participatory platform, bringing together thought leaders, innovators, and changemakers from Asia and beyond. Together, we reaffirm our shared commitment to connect, innovate, and build a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future for all.
