Lai Fung Holdings Limited is a member of the Lai Sun Group and was listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1997. (Stock Code 1125)
The major business of the Group is development and investment of properties in the Mainland of China, with focus at Shanghai and Guangzhou. The Chairman is Mr Lim Por Yen and the Chief Executive Officer is Mr Lam Kin Hong Matthew. The Group employs a total of approximately 380 employees (both Hong Kong and China inclusive). As at 31 July 2003, the audited net assets and value of the Group is approx. HK$5600 million.

Business Activities

Lai Fung mainly engages itself in the property development (for sales) and investment (for rental) in the Mainland of China.

The Group's main project in Shanghai - Hong Kong Plaza offers offices, shopping arcades and service apartments with extensive clubhouse facilities. Another project in Shanghai - Regents Park is to be developed into a residential, service apartments, cinemas and commercial complex.

Other projects in Guangzhou: a residential development - Eastern Place, and May Flower Plaza - adjacent to Beijing Road and atop the Guangzhou Gongyuanqian subway station.
