Company Background

Christfund Securities Limited (formerly named Hang Fung Securities Co.) was founded by Christopher Cheung in 1980 and was incorporated in 1987. The Group encompasses more than a dozen subsidiaries engaging in various financial services activities. Christfund is an active participant of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Futures Exchange, and a member of the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society and the Philippine Stock Exchange. Christfund also has investments in manufacturing and property development projects in China, Southeast Asia and the Americas. In order to extend services to clients’ satisfaction, Christfund has four branches strategically located in Hong Kong and Kowloon, and recently added electronic trading facilities to accommodate local and overseas customers.

Business Activities

Christfund is basically an equity and futures brokerage firm, offering a wide range of financial services activities including the trading of stocks, futures, warrants, options and other financial derivatives. Christfund extends to clients financial facilities such as bridge financing and securities mortgage; providing real time financial information and online securities and futures trading; providing research and analysis services. Christfund also underwrites new listing shares and arranges share placements for listed companies; manages mergers and acquisitions and advises corporate restructuring. Christfund subsidiaries also assist clients in the trading of precious metals and shares in the Philippines.
