Founded in 1959, Asia Insurance is wholly owned by Asia Financial Holdings Limited. We are now one of Hong Kong’s leading general insurance companies, possessing strong finance, a large distribution network and a quality client base. Since 1995, we have been assigned “A-“ under Standard & Poor’s Insurer Financial Strength Rating, with strong capitalization (paid up capital of HK$2 billion) and high liquidity. Asia Insurance was upgraded to “A” in 2007. Our Gross Premiums written in 2009 exceeded HK$800 million and total assets stood at HK$4 billion as at 31st December 2009.

Business Activities

Asia Insurance provides a very comprehensive range of general insurance products (such as Professional Indemnity and Directors’ & Officers’ Liability) and health care products (such as “Care Forever”, a special scheme tailored to meet specific needs of personal and corporate customers). Apart from its head office in Hong Kong, Asia Insurance distributes its products and services overseas via its Macau and Taiwan branches.
