Six university students competed in the final stages of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce’s (HKGCC) Pitch Perfect Programme on Friday (30 May), earning a one-year HKGCC Student Membership and cash prizes for their outstanding performance.
Commending their creativity and professionalism, the judges said the experience had been enriching for the students, and would serve as a stepping stone towards their career development in Hong Kong’s business sector.
Each of the six winners received a cash prize of HK$8,000. The overall champion was designated as Chamber Student Ambassador and awarded an additional HK$10,000 prize, along with an exclusive opportunity to meet a distinguished business leader for career mentorship and insights into the corporate world.
Launched in March 2025 by HKGCC’s Young Executives Club, the three-month programme progressed through four stages, attracting over 140 students from local universities and tertiary institutions. Students took part in training workshops, company visits and mentorship sessions designed to develop essential workplace skills. The activities culminated in the semi-final and final stages on 30 May, where students engaged in hypothetical job interviews with representatives from our corporate sponsors and Chamber leadership.
The programme was made possible through the generous sponsorship of seven companies – Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, Ernst & Young, MTR Corporation Limited, Nan Fung Group and AIRSIDE, Shun Tak Holdings, Sino Group, and NEC Hong Kong Limited – and was supported by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, as well as HKGCC member companies who students’ mentors.
