The two lucky winners of the second and third Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloons in the “Hong Kong We Can Do It! Lucky Draw,” Ms Chan (right), and Mrs Chan, respectively, drove their brand new cars from Zung Fu at the Mercedes-Benz Brand Centre, Hong Kong Island today.

Dr Y K Pang, Deputy Managing Director and Hong Kong Chairman of Jardine Matheson, and HKGCC CEO George Leung, presented both winners with their Mercedes-Benz C 200 Saloons at the presentation ceremony.

Ms Chan said she couldn’t believe she had won the car in the sixth lucky draw on 23 September, and was thrilled that she now has the keys. Winner of the third Mercedes-Benz vehicle in the seventh and final round on 30 September, Mrs Chan, said winning the car was a dream come true for the family. In addition to the cars, their prize also included all license, insurance and registration fees for the first year for both winners.

“I am really grateful to Jardines and HKGCC for being so generous and also for all their effort and coordination in preparing all the formalities for me, which today makes receiving this fantastic prize even more touching,” said Ms Chan.

“Jardines is proud to have played a part in this initiative. Thanks to HKGCC’s lucky draw to help raise vaccination rates and protect more citizens against COVID-19, the number of people getting their vaccination rose steadily over the summer to almost 70%. We hope people will continue to get their shots to protect themselves and their loved ones,” said Pang.

Commenting on the lucky draw, HKGCC CEO George Leung said: “I would like to thank again our members for sponsoring this campaign. We could not have organized this meaningful event without their generosity and care for the community. These fantastic prizes provided an extra incentive for people to get vaccinated.”
