Wang Huarong, Party Leadership Group Secretary and Chairman of the Sichuan Provincial Women’s Federation, led a delegation to visit the Chamber on 10 June. Former Chairman Agnes Chan received the delegation.
Both sides have in-depth discussions on further strengthening exchanges in women’s work and promoting interaction between the two places in social services, women’s development, and related areas of cooperation. They also said they would continue to deepen cooperation, expand areas of collaboration, and jointly promote mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

Yin Ming, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xiqu Subdistrict, Zhongshan visited
Yin Ming, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xiqu Subdistrict, Zhongshan, visited the Chamber on 10 June, and was received by Edmond Yew, Vice Chairman of China Committee.
At the meeting, they exchanged views on the development of a Chinese medicine hospital, healthcare and wellness services, the integration of medical resources, and the development of the eldercare industry in Zhongshan’s Xiqu Subdistrict. Yin hoped to promote the construction of a traditional Chinese medicine and health industry park, so as to further drive the development of related industries. Yin further noted that, with a railway planned to connect Zhongshan with Shenzhen and Guangzhou in the future, regional transport connectivity would be enhanced, strengthening Zhongshan’s role as a strategic pivot and further promoting Shenzhen-Zhongshan integration and coordinated regional development.
