Xu Xu, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Zhejiang Province, visited the Chamber on 23 April, and was received by Chairman Agnes Chan and Edmond Yew, Vice Chairman of the China Committee.

Xu noted that Zhejiang’s fiscal revenue ranks second, while exports and urban-rural residents’ income both ranks among the top in the country. Zhejiang has a solid foundation in finance, the rule of law, innovation, and economic development, and is actively advancing the development of a high-level Zhejiang.

Xu also said that the “Hong Kong and Macao Youth Trip to Zhejiang” programme will continue to be held in July this year. By maintaining science and technology innovation projects as a key link, the programme will further promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation between Zhejiang and Hong Kong.
