We had a lively discussion at the Asia, Africa & Middle East Committee meeting today as Jonathan Lamport provided a debriefing on the Chamber’s recent mission to Bahrain and the UAE. Delegates who joined the trip also shared their observations and advice for developing business in the two booming gulf countries.

At the meeting, Dewan Saiful Alam was elected as the new committee chairman, taking over the reins from Jonathan after completing his third term.  Yolane Japhet was re-elected as vice chairman, while Zaman Minhas Qamar was were newly elected as vice chairman.
