The Transport & Logistics Committee held a seminar on 21 May on the theme “Sea–Air and Road–Air Corridors: Re‑wiring GBA Logistics Flows via Hong Kong”. The event featured guest speakers Dr Venus Lun, Special Director at the Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre, Ms Cissy Chan, Executive Director of Commercial at the Airport Authority Hong Kong, and Mr Simon Yam, Executive Director – IFF, Greater Bay Area, KLN Freight Hong Kong Limited. The discussion was moderated by Committee Chairman Mr Wilson Kwong.

Speakers examined key headwinds facing Hong Kong’s logistics sector, including infrastructure and cross‑boundary constraints, while highlighting opportunities to differentiate the city through value‑added services in GBA sea–air and road–air corridors. They also stressed how improved data visibility, digitalisation and development of upstream logistics parks can enhance end‑to‑end visibility and reinforce Hong Kong’s role as a leading multimodal hub within the GBA.
