It was a full house at our “Meet the New Chamber Chairman” cocktail reception on 20 June, where around 100 members raised their glasses to new HKGCC Chairman Agnes Chan, BBS. In her speech, Chan thanked Committee leaders and members for their support and emphasized that the Chamber would continue to serve as a bridge between the Government and the business community, leveraging Hong Kong’s role as a super-connector to widen international connections. She also highlighted the many events on the Chamber's calendar this year to help members broaden their business horizons and networks. Later Chan raised a toast with Chamber CEO Patrick Yeung and members of the General Committee. Besides the opportunity to exchange views with the new Chairman, members enjoyed socializing in a relaxed environment over wine and canapés.
