2025/07/22 | 3rd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Business Roundtable Meeting Edmond Yew, Vice Chairman of the China Committee, attended the 3rd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Business Roundtable Meeting in Huizhou on 22 July.
The talks covered technological innovation and industrial cooperation to create a collaborative pathway between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao that integrates “research, industry and market.”

2025/07/17 | The 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) – Hong Kong Promotion Luncheon Chamber Chairman Agnes Chan attended the Hong Kong promotional conference on 17 July for the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT). She was accompanied by General Committee member Edmond Yue, China Committee Vice Chairman Nick Chan and members.
Held annually in Xiamen, CIFIT is one of China’s most significant international investment promotion events. As a supporting organization, the Chamber will lead a delegation to Xiamen for this year’s edition, which will be held from 8 to 11 September (stay tuned for further details).
CIFIT plays a vital role in advancing China’s opening-up policy and strengthening international investment cooperation. It serves as a key platform for two-way investment promotion, the dissemination of authoritative information and research on investment trends. The fair also offers a platform for global investors to explore opportunities and showcases China’s achievements in reform and opening up.

2025/05/20 | Opening Ceremony of Shandong Week 2025 and theShandong-Hong Kong Cooperation High-Quality Development Promotion Conference HKGCC CEO Patrick Yeung represented the Chamber at the opening ceremony of Shandong Week 2025 and the Shandong-Hong Kong Cooperation High-Quality Development Promotion Conference on 20 May. The event was held in Hong Kong and hosted by Wang Yuyan, Deputy Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee.
On the same day, Chamber Vice Chairman PC Yu attended the Shandong-Hong Kong Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Dinner.
