To promote a closer relationship between Hong Kong Chambers and Qingdao, an MoU was signed by the Qingdao Commerce Bureau and HKGCC, as well as the other three major local chambers during an online seminar on 1 March. China Committee Chairman Petrina Tam represented the Chamber to sign the MoU online.

4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai in November. In order to enable more companies to understand and participate in CIIE, to bring Hong Kong’s high-quality food and services to the Mainland market, and to promote Hong Kong's advantages as an international trade platform and service industry hub in Asia, the 4th CIIE -Hong Kong Online Recruitment Seminar hosted by Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and Hong Kong Trade Development Council was held on 26 February. A number of Chamber members joined the seminar online.
|2021/01/26||The MoU was signed by the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen Municipality and HKGCC|
Qianhai district is a free trade zone in Shenzhen focusing on service sectors including finance, modern logistics and technology services.
To promote a closer relationship and talent exchange among the business communities of Qianhai, Hong Kong and Macao, Qianhai officials and business groups from Hong Kong and Macao signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 26 January.
The MoU was signed by the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen Municipality and HKGCC, as well as a number of other business chambers. China Committee Chairman Petrina Tam represented the Chamber to sign the MoU online, and Chamber CEO George Leung witnessed the ceremony.
