2018/06/25 | Meeting with Kagoshima Prefectural Government Koji Tomiyoshi, Director of the Kagoshima Prefectural Government International Affairs Division visited the Chamber on 25 June. The delegation from Japan was received by Chamber CEO Shirley Yuen and PR & Programs Director Lok Yee Fan. The two sides discussed the details of the 21st Hong Kong-Kagoshima Conference, which will take place in September this year in Kagoshima Prefecture. Yuen expressed that Kagoshima and Hong Kong could foster closer ties in business and tourism. |
2018/06/16 | Celebrating Eid with the Consulate General of Malaysia Behzad Mirzaei, Chairman of the Asia & Africa Committee attended the party hosted by MATRADE Hong Kong of the Consulate General of Malaysia on 16 June in celebration of the Eid. Malaysia continues to be a major trading partner with Hong Kong, as the country has a growing demand for Hong Kong consumer products and business services such as IT, licensing and franchising, and creative and design.

2018/05/29 | Building Ties with IGAD from Africa Dr Solomon Muchina Munyua, Director of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Centre for Pastoral Areas and Livestock Development (ICPALD) from Africa, visited the Chamber on 29 May. The 15-member delegation was received by Behzad Mirzaei, Chairman of the Asia & Africa Committee, and members. The two sides discussed the potential of Hong Kong’s role as a hub for meat exports from Africa to Asia.
