| Duties |
We are looking for a passionate, high-energy Project & Youth Development Officer to drive the execution of our flagship youth initiatives and corporate programs. If you are driven by youth empowerment, leadership training, and community engagement, this role offers a powerful platform to inspire the next generation of talent. You will lead the end-to-end management of high-profile youth programs, handling from corporate sponsorship to student outreach. Join us to make a meaningful impact on the future workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flagship Youth & Leadership Programs: End-to-end organization and execution of the Chamber’s high-profile initiatives, including the Business Case Competition, Pitch Perfect Programme, and the Business-School Partnership.
- Sponsorship & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison to secure and manage corporate sponsors, while driving active participation from universities, schools, students, and Chamber members.
- Secretariat & Committee Support: Perform core secretariat duties and manage strategic activities for the Young Executive Club, as well as other designated youth development committees and clubs.
- Marketing & Public Relations: Oversee promotional strategies and publicity campaigns to maximize program reach; regularly update committee-related content across the Chamber’s website and social media platforms.
- To perform other duties as required by the Chamber.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of solid experience in event coordination and project management, preferably within a Chamber of Commerce, academic & professional body, or youth-centric organization.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Strong public speaking and presentation skills are highly preferred.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of interacting professionally with corporate executives, sponsors, school principals, and tertiary students.
- Digital Literacy: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Solid experience in managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and basic website content management systems (CMS).
