What's On

As Hong Kong embraces Industry 4.0 and Enterprise 4.0, how can the food and beverage industry capitalize on innovation and smart manufacturing to unlock new business opportunities?

The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) has recently launched the Future FoodTech Lab, the city's first FoodTech prototype display platform, to showcase novel food processing technologies that contribute immensely to raising production capacity and prolonging shelf life of fresh goods.

Join us on a tour of the new lab on 14 December when participants will learn about such advanced food processing technologies as the award-winning 'CAPfresh' – a chemical-free disinfection system that can kill bacteria and spore on food to extend shelf life by 300% in just three minutes. The tour will also include a visit to the 'Celesphere' – HKPC's new metaverse centre.

Tentative Programme:

3:00PM           Assemble at the reception of HKPC

3:05PM           Meet and greet with HKPC representative and tour of places of interest including the FoodTech Lab, Celesphere – HKPC Metaverse Centre, TechEd Playground, and Research Lab for Applications of Intelligent Automation Technology.

4:30PM           End of Visit (Participants to make own transport arrangements)
