The China Committee has been promoting Hong Kong as the international bridge connecting Mainland China with the world. It is one of the most active committees in the Chamber, and is responsible for advising and assisting the Chamber in formulating policy, enhancing economic relations and strengthening trade. The committee keeps members up to date on the latest economic developments and new policies in Hong Kong and the Mainland that will impact their business, through organizing timely roundtable luncheons, seminars and study missions.

Seminar on the Latest Industrial and Commercial Policies of Guangdong

The Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce organized a seminar on the latest industrial and commercial policies of Guangdong on 30 June in Hong Kong. Chen Yuehua, Deputy Director briefed members the latest policy of processing trade fund and transformation support policy of industry and technology and also introduced the quarantine exemption guidelines for businessmen entering Guangdong. HKGCC was a supporting organizer of the seminar.
