Dr Lily Chiang Elected Chairman of HK General Chamber of Commerce

The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) is pleased to announce that Dr Lily Chiang, the founder of Eco-Tek Holdings Ltd, has been elected Chairman of HKGCC for the coming year. Dr Lily Chiang, who served as Deputy Chairman of the Chamber for the past two years, is the first woman to chair HKGCC in its 146-year history.

The election was held at the inaugural meeting of the new General Committee immediately after the HKGCC's Annual General Meeting on May 3. Chairman of the past two years, David Eldon, former Chairman of the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd, has announced his wish to step down from the General Committee so as to make way for new blood to serve the Chamber.

Succeeding Lily Chiang as Deputy Chairman is Andrew Brandler, CEO of CLP Holdings Ltd. The three Vice-Chairmen are respectively, Anthony Wu, Senior Advisor of Ernst & Young, K K Yeung, Chairman of K K Yeung Management Consultants Ltd and He Guangbei, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd.

At the Annual General Meeting, five members were re-elected to serve on the General Committee. They are Victor Li, Christopher Pratt, Peter Wong, K K Yeung and Andrew Yuen. Following is the updated list of General Committee.
