The One & Two day versions of the Influencing without Authority workshops are an accredited CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training by The CPD Certification Service in the United Kingdom.

This is a condensed version designed to help you understand the key elements to influence the others without authority.

• Identifying the key benefit, value and impact of a given idea or recommendation

Influencing Tactics:
• Introduction of the 6 key principles by Robert Cialdini
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders
• Adapting your message depending on different stakeholders

Handling Resistance:
• Why people resist?
• Defining and discussing the difference of opinions and thoughts between 2 parties
• "Cushioning" when dealing with difficult people

Target Audience:
• Anyone who needs to convince other parties (internal or external) especially those have no direct authority
• Managers/Supervisors who need to deal with cross-functional teams and people across departments

Raju Sajnani, CEO, EHP Hong Kong Ltd

Sajnani has had over 30+ years’ experience in the training industry, the recent 20+ years running his own consulting business and prior to those 10 years having worked for two major training organizations, Learning International formerly known as Xerox Learning Systems, (and finally as AchieveGlobal), and Dale Carnegie, as both a Training Consultant, and finally as one of the Institute Directors. Sajnani joined Huthwaite as Senior Consultant in 2004. He was one of the first batches of Huthwaite trainers certified to facilitate SPIN programs in Asia.

Sajnani specialises in the delivery of sales and sales management programs, as well as training in the area of leadership and management. He is the author of The “P” Factor – Dealing with the dynamics of ever changing people.

He is described by participants as engaging, dynamic and energetic. His enthusiasm and commitment to helping clients achieve business results has won him a record of training success. Sajnani is outgoing and employs participative methods in his training ensuring that every participant in his class has the opportunity to gain from the session. He creates an atmosphere of sharing and open discussion whereby all the participants are willing to get involved in the session in order to ensure that there is a benefit to everyone in class.

Notes - Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
- Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
- The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
- No refund will be made for last minute cancellations or no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 7 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
- Members paying with their BOC HKGCC Visa Card will enjoy a 30% discount on their reservation. The discount is only applicable to the card holder, and does not extend to their guests. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with Chamber Coupons.
- A $50 handling fee per person will be charged for all offline bookings (e.g. fax, e-mail, post) for all Chamber events. Go online today by downloading our app or registering on the HKGCC website to save the environment and money.
- Priority is given to corporate members. The decision to accept or decline any booking shall be at sole discretion of the Chamber.
