Uncertainty and instability are major sources of stress for people, and these feelings of anxiety can have a profound impact on our mental well-being, this is particularly the case during the current COVID-19 situation.

Often, many experiencing mental health disorders do not seek professional help due to feelings of shame, lack of support, or simply lack of knowledge. It is estimated that in Hong Kong, 1 in 7 people is experiencing some sort of common mental disorder, and three-quarters of them do not seek professional help.

Joining us at this informational webinar on mental health is Dr Hannah Reidy, Chief Executive Officer of Mind HK, a registered NGO committed to improving and understanding mental health in Hong Kong, while breaking the stigma around it.

Dr Hannah Reidy is the Chief Executive Officer of Mind HK, and has been with the charity organization since 2016. She is a part of the team that officially launched the charity at the Hong Kong Mental Health Conference in November 2017.

A UK trained Clinical Psychologist with degrees from Oxford University and University College London, Reidy practises clinically in Hong Kong when she is not working at Mind HK. Outside of her work, Reidy also lectures as an Honorary Assistant Professor on the HKU Masters in Psychosis course, as she has a special interest in Early Psychosis.

- Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
- Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
- The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
- No refund will be made for last minute cancellations or no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 3 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
