He will also explore how the Government and the business sector can collaborate to chart our development as an international financial hub.

Prior to his current role as the Chairman of WeLab Bank and the Adjunct Professor of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Chan served as the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury in the HKSAR Government and held the position of Dean of Business and Management at HKUST. His multifaceted background gives him unique insights into Hong Kong's financial landscape, which he will share with members.
