At a seminar on 5 October, Marcos Chan, Executive Director and Head of Research at CBRE Hong Kong, shared insights on Hong Kong’s ESG landscape, specifically on the implementation of the social and governance aspect of ESG into the workplace. After his sharing, Manyi Choi, Head of Workplace Strategy at CBRE Hong Kong; Mark Lam, Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Sustainability at Hongkong Land, and John Liu, Head of Digital Service at Schneider Electric HK, discussed strategies to incentivize the adoption of green leases, the challenges associated with digital transformation and cost consideration in pursuit of ESG agendas, and examined the role of government policies in encouraging green practices.
