In recent years, Latin America and Mainland China have been increasing trade and investment. Given the high-level conference on Latin America that took place in Beijing in January, the relationship between the both sides is set to accelerate. At the Chamber’s roundtable luncheon on Latin America, HKTDC's Economist Louis Chan, S.W. Leong Chair Professor of Economics of Lingnan University’s Jesús Seade,and Great Place to Work in China’s CEO José Carlos Bezanilla,spoke on the HK-Latin Americantrade, the major developments in the region, as well as the importance of enriching exchanges between Latin American and China.
