Sharon Lam, Tax Partner, International Tax of Deloitte China, who is an expert of U.S.international tax laws, spoke on the impact of FATCA on business practices, policies and procedures for all FFIs including banks, insurance companies, custodians, investments funds, trustee companies and other financial institutions including those which do not have U.S.clients or U.S.investments. She also provided an update on the latest developments with Inter-governmental Agreement, which Hong Kong was expected to enter into with the U.S.later this year.
