Jilin Department of Commerce Visits Chamber
Wang Mingkui, Vice Director at the Department of Commerce, Jilin Province, led a delegation to visit the Chamber on January 10 where they were welcomed by China Committee Vice Chairman Siu Hung Chan and members. Jilin is a key agricultural province in China, and is rich in natural resources. The delegation was comprised of several Jilin enterprises engaged in the production of agricultural goods and traditional Chinese medicine. Both parties exchanged views on the economic outlook for the Mainland, Hong Kong and globally, as well as discussed how Hong Kong and Jilin enterprises could expand their cooperation.

Haikou Vice Mayor visits Chamber
Lu Min, Vice Mayor of Haikou, Hainan Island, led a delegation to visit the Chamber on December 13, where they were welcomed by the General Committee Member and Co-convenor of Belt & Road Working Group Edmond Yue. Both parties shared their views on the Free Trade Port policies of Hainan. Members asked for updates on the latest tax, cargo and wealth management policies etc of the island.

Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce - Christmas Party
YEC Chairman Olivia Kung represented the Chamber to join a Christmas party organized by the Youth Committee of the Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce (潮青聖誕聯歡晚會2022) on 9 December.

2021-22 Hong Kong Awards Of Industries Awards Presentation Ceremony
The Awards Presentation Ceremony for the 2021-22 Hong Kong Awards for Industries was held on 28 November. Under the Innovation and Creativity award category organised by the Chamber, nine companies were commended for their achievements in developing unique innovative projects to meet market challenges and opportunities.
