At the 10 June committee meeting, Douglas Lau, Industry Lead, Governments and Institutions, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Region, Global Business Solutions of Xiaohongshu, shared how the platform’s lifestyle‑driven community and rich data insights enable brands to convert user interest into tangible business results.

He illustrated how search behaviour, user‑generated content and nuanced emotional insights can be harnessed to sharpen audience targeting, strengthen seeding strategies and improve conversion, offering practical ideas for Hong Kong marketers looking to deepen engagement with younger, experience‑seeking consumers.

Elections were also held at the meeting, with Bella Chhoa elected as Chairman, Alan Lo and Hoi See Song re-elected as Vice Chairmen, and Freda Ng elected as Vice Chairman.
