The World Services Congress 2001, to be held in Hong Kong, has the full support of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Congress will bring together leading policy makers, businessmen and academics from around the world to address important issues confronting the global service economy. Holding this prestigious event in Hong Kong would underline our status as the pre-eminent services centre in Asia. Through the event, we can also showcase to the world the strengths of our competitive service industries.
The organisers of the World Services Congress 2001-the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and Hong Kong Coalition of Service Industries – are working hard to ensure the event’s success.
