| Fellowship Scheme for Developing Countries Fellowship applications are now being accepted from members of the academia who wish to participate in the World Services Congress 2001, to be held in Hong Kong on September 19 – 21, 2001. Fellowships are open to applicants from developing countries who wish to present papers on different topics related to services trade sector, globalization, the new economy, and their effects on developing economies. Amount of Award: The amount of the award is US $1,000 to help cover the costs involved in participating in the Congress: transportation, lodging, daily stipend, registration fees and other miscellaneous expenses. Application Procedures: All applicants must submit the following: (a) title and abstract of the paper to be presented at the World Services Congress, (b) completed application form, (c) curriculum vitae, and (d) a letter explaining the interest and what one hopes to gain from participation in the meeting and the fellowship program.
